Mission Statement
We are contemporary law firm with the benefit of old school prosecution training coupled with education in two diverse areas of law, and hands on industry experience in Property Valuation, and Commercial property. Still frequent personal court appearances, and up to date property dealings.
Our principal lawyer is Mr Brett Leybourne, who has in excess of twenty five years experience in legal services. He has worked in various areas of the legal system including litigation, wills, probate, conveyancing, and refinancing of mortgages. Mr Leybourne now focuses on litigation and immigration law. With knowledge of the litigation process, the criminal justice system, and the defense system, we can offer advice and skill with a practical side.
Mr. Leybourne also holds a Masters Degree in Law (majoring in Criminal Justice)
We focus on cultural diversity and well aware of the fact that 21 century will be Asian Century. Therefore, we had made our-self ready to provide you with legal services in any main Chinese Dialects (Mandarin, Cantonese, Tew Chow etc ) and Vietnamese beside our office language, English.

About Us and History
Our principal lawyer Brett Leybourne has in excess of twenty five years experience in Legal Services since 1988.
Firstly within the realms of the NSW Police as a uniformed officer, and then appointed Police Prosecutor. The role provided him with the training and reinforcement regarding the rules of Evidence, and Court room behaviour, and strategies.
He also gained the experience of both Sydney Metropolitan Courts, and Country courts near the Queensland border of Moree. From 1987 to 1995.
In addition to prosecution duties, he then studied law, and upon Graduation, was appointed as a defence lawyer essentially defending cases covering criminal, civil, and family law in the Local Courts, and Districts Courts.
His private practise also included residential, and commercial conveyancing, wills, and mortgage refinancing.
Brett completed post graduate education in the form of his Master of Laws at University of NSW at Randwick in 2002.
His thirst for knowledge continued, and in 2017 he commenced further study in the Property Valuers Bachelor Degree Course graduating in 2020, now a Certified Property Valuer.
Part of Brett’s portfolio is now handing his knowledge to others, Teaching in the TAFE system both in the Higher Education unit and also in TAFE generally.
This has expanded the portfolio of Leybournelegal to embrace firstly Application of the Law, and now tuition, interpretation, and teaching the law.
Further In recent times Brett has now embraced commercial law in furtherance of his valuing degree, to the role of supervisory in-house legal duties for Unikorn Commercial Property Agents.
